February 8, 2010 -- Tonight, Ringo Starr was given his very own star on the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame. This former Beatles drummer is the 2,401st name to grace these very special sidewalks, his on a brass plaque located outside the landmark Capitol Records building at 1750 N. Vine Street.
This arena near Hollywood Boulevard is appropriate since Ringo and the other Beatles recorded songs at Capital records, as a group and as individuals. In fact, Ringo’s 1974 hit video based on the song ‘Only You’ was filmed on the rooftop of this famous building that resembles a giant stack of records.
Nearby Ringo's new star, his Beatles mates John Lennon and George Harrison each command their own sidewalk plaques featuring bronze, five-pointed stars.

Lucy O'Donnell var skolkamrat med John Lennons son Julian. Det ska ha varit Julian som ritat en teckning av henne och förklarat för pappa John att den föreställde Lucy i himlen med diamanter.
